Moodle Lessons
Moodle, BUK's virtual learning environment, is expected to be used in all our courses to provide our students with access to online resources, activities and communication.
The ongoing lessons are for the group of people that would provide support to students in using the moodle in learning and would provide an easily accessible location for course information and materials, and assists academic staff with course management. Moodle can also help in managing courses. Direct links to the common timetable, and to online reading lists are particularly useful; as are the tools for scheduling tutorials, delivering questionnaires, and managing assessments.
This group would also ensure that all taught courses will have a Moodle presence subsequently. This will include, as a minimum, a module outline and handbook, staff contact details, a reading list, and a news forum for announcements. It is anticipated that Moodle will also be used for linking to the common timetable, class materials as appropriate and additional resources and links.
